Reggie tweets: “Missed a sitter but we won so that’s the best part about it!”

With all fairness to Reggie, it was an excellent run down the right flank, a save by the keeper and a great follow up by the Bermudian. Reggie’s second shot was actually not as easy as might first seem as the ball was basically on the end line and parallel to the goal and with a split-second to place the ball in the net from that angle … definitely not “the miss of the season” as commented!

54′ #TorontoFC 0-0 Philadelphia – substitution: Lambe off, Eckersley on …#TFCLive

Toronto FC 1 vs Vancouver Whitecaps 0 (May 23)

…Toronto finally scored in the 83rd minute after a nice bit of work from Lambe to keep the ball before he hammered home a right-footed shot from the just inside the area into the bottom left corner after taking a pass from Soolsma.

Reggie’s Goal seals Toronto FC’s fourth consecutive Amway Canadian Championship as the Voyageurs Cup remains in The Ontario Lake City.

Instinct Lands Lambe The Winner

Toronto winger shows a sixth sense in the opposition area to down Vancouver on Wednesday.

“We need to go into Saturday playing the same as we did today and we should get a win Saturday as well,” Lambe added.

“Most times, most games when we  come out and look to defend we don’t  seem to get good enough results so we just wanted to press forward, just keep going and get a win,” Lambe explained. “The win was a big relief. But you put your shot on target and it goes in.”

Lambe said the fact that Toronto’s Julian de Guzman and Vancouver’s Sébastien Le Toux were sent off 15 minutes earlier after a midfield scuffle opened the game up.

“I think with the two sending offs the game got a bit spread out,” Lambe said. “I think the crosses into the box from us are very important and I just think our finishes need to be better.” read entire article @

Reggie Lambe’s Late Tally – May 23, 2012

The goal came after some good work down the left side from Ashtone Morgan and Ryan Johnson. Johnson put the cross in front and Nick Soolsma nodded it back to Lambe in the middle of the box, who made a move to get free and then sent it into the bottom left corner giving TFC a 2-1 lead on aggregate.
